Friday the 7th February 2020 we launched our new services, the parenting services through B.S.L Community.
Andrew and Cheryl delivered the presentation to the guests, with two interpreters on hand to ease communication but, in a good way, they weren’t needed as all the guests and speakers were fluent BSL users!
Andrew and Cheryl bounced off each other like Ant and Dec in the presentation, injecting humour and real life stories into the launch. The guests seemed to respond well to the two, relating to the case studies and stories themselves.
At the end our feelings were validated that our services are strongly needed within the deaf community, by the wave of invitations to speak in different boroughs across the South East.
We are looking forward to our services growing and evolving with the deaf community!
